The G.O.A.T. Landscaping Services

Welcome to The Goat Landscaping services where traditional landscaping meets the incredible abilities of our goats. When it comes to tackling challenging tasks like poison ivy, oak, sumac, kudzu, poison hemlock and Himalayan blackberry or clearing stone walls and trees of vines and overgrowth, the goats are the perfect choice. They excel at jobs that are very difficult and timely for humans and machines to handle.

When you choose ‘The Goat’ for your land clearing and invasive species management needs, we all benefit from the eco-friendly carbon neutral solution, leaving a minimal environmental footprint. Unlike machinery or other traditional methods of clearing brush our goats work silently and quickly allowing for a more natural and peaceful landscaping experience.

The Process

Site Evaluation

Onsite Evaluation

A walk through assessment of feasibility. This is when we learn about the goals for the area and make sure that there are no hazards for our four-legged employees. We can give you a good idea of timelines and probable outcomes for your project.

First Day Setup

Day One Setup

On the first day of the project, our trained and insured herdsman will set up low-voltage electric fencing (not harmful to humans) to keep the goats contained within the targeted grazing areas, and to keep predators out. Then the work begins!

Our team provides daily care and observation of our herds for the duration of their stay. This can be one week or for many weeks depending on the size of the job. We will pick up the goats when the job is completed as agreed upon.

The fees for the services vary depending upon the size of the job and how many goats are on site. The first day has a setup fee for transporting the goats and setting up the fences to keep them in the first area that the work will begin. We then return to care for the goats as needed and to move the fences to the next area. Depending on the size and scope of the job multiple fences may be required. Typically for 10 goats the first day is $350 for set up fee and $200 a day after that. If more goats are required it’s $20 per goat. 12 goats would be $240 a day and the setup fee would be $390 for the first day with the $150 setup fee.
